Takes something humans would actually do to individuals with unique abilities & makes an interesting story from it. This is not a “cliffhanger” like you find in most series, it does leave you expecting more of a story.
Addy & Cat are attacked in their own home. Their parents murdered. Separated when they are fleeing the house. Addy is picked up by an older Psioic, who uses his powers to control Addy. But Addy eventually gets away, he is then found by another … one who only wants to help.
Addy becomes like an older brother to Alia. Her story is pretty bad, but has amazing powers.
I cannot wait to see what happens with Addy & Alia in future books. Plus learning about Cat, will she be recovered or lost for good?
